Elijah Zane was born and raised in Victoria, Texas. As a kid, he spent a lot of time at the family junkyard (aka “recycling center”) burning metal in the Texas heat while listening to local radio station 106.9 the Rock where they aired music which inspired his original music. Artists such as Chris Duarte, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ian Moore, CCR, Delbert McClinton, The Black Crowes, Van Morrison and more were his favorite artists. He learned how to play the guitar and the Blues at church and from family and friends. After graduating high school he then moved to San Antonio, Texas to continue his college and musical career. There he opened up for Chris Duarte, Ian Moore, Vallejo, and other local artists. He also performed at various venues throughout the Alamo City and commuted to Austin, Texas back and forth for shows on 6th street.
Elijah Zane now lives in Austin, Texas and performs regularly at local venues such as The Skylark Lounge, Geraldine’s, The Saxon Pub, and Antone’s with Miss Lavelle White. The Elijah Zane band performs original music that spreads over genres that include Texas Blues, Latin Rock, Soul, Southern Rock, and Blues Rock. The full band consists of Trevor Villwock, Dalton Melancon on Saxophone, Elijah Zane on vocals and guitar, Trevor Villwock on keys, Sam Robinson on drums and Justin Sedillo on bass.
